This morning, we were at our regular Monday morning playgroup when Kai came to me and informed me that he had a boogie. It was not a boogie. It was an unpopped popcorn kernel. In his right nostril. It was lodged in such a way that I could not get it out. Thank goodness there was a pediatric nurse on hand to give Kai the you're not moving an inch hold. Thank goodness that Kai was so disturbed by the popcorn in the nose that he did not squirm while I pulled out the kernel. With tweezers. Thank goodness that although Kai does not yet have the sense not to put popcorn kernels in his nose, he did think it was a good idea to alert me to the situation.

So, uh, hypothetically, if, like, say, one of my friends had a popcorn kernel stuck up his nose, and, uh, if, hypothetically this friend came up to me and asked me for advice on how to get it out, what do you suggest I, I mean, he, do?
